Restaurant Pengyou

The food was very good and well presented. The time of waiting was normal and the service was excellent!

The menu is really big, you have several options for different meats as well as vegetables. I 100% recommend the eggplant, I never tasted something similar before. I would say close to french fries texture wise, salty and with an umami flavour. The pork ribs were really good as well but extremly spicy so beware! The noodles this time were not the best, I had them on another occasion and they did not disappoint. Nothing too bad, just a bit dry. The vegetable balls were ok, no distinct taste. Overall, a good place with tasty dishes depending on your preference and how much flavour you usually like in your food.

A definite surprise in the middle of nowhere in Bucharest. We were a big group, and was looking for a last minute restaurant as we had some change in plans. We enquired and they confirmed they can accommodate us at a short notice. They provided us with a separate room . We tried different menu options from Chicken, Beef, Lamb and Shrimp. All were really good. Definitely recommend it.

The only reason for the 4 stars is because of of how long the food took. The food was 10/10 for me. My partners had barely any flavour. The staff were really nice and I loved how lovely the atmosphere was. Cheeky for adding 10% service charge though

I came here at 17:15, so it was still quiet. There were several waitresses, food was served very quick. Restaurant was clean, food was tasty and it was relatively cheap. Was it the best Sichuan Chinese food I have ever seen outside of China? No, but that is also not expected for this price and location. So in conclusion I think this is a decent place to eat and I don't really understand some other peoples complaints.

Cute Chinese restaurant. The food is very good and the place is pretty. I think its not very known but its very good nonetheless. Would recommend!

The restaurant is ok, the terrace could use some improvements, but i guess no one goes there to look at the trees. The food was good, big portions, but we’ve had better, though we would come back to try some other dishes as their food menu was HUGE. We ordered: - beef on a hot plate 3⭐ ( the sauce was kind of missing, not enough veggies, and the meat was not tender ) - pork woth crispy rice 5 ⭐( the pork was really tender and tasty, the veggies gooood, sauce, all great. The rice … not wow, but it worked) - Yang Zhou rice - 4⭐. It didn’t impress me, because i’ve had so much better ones, but this wasn’t bad. Unfortunately, the beverage menu was limited, most of the beers were unavailable and so were the juices, but well, they had cold water! Try the cryspy beef, is was delish!!!one of our friends had ordered it and we got to taste and we were impressed!

Decent restaurant, with a huge variety of dishes. The food was alright, not great, not terrible. Allergens are poorly described for each dish, so make sure you ask the staff about the actual ingredients. We had to wait a bit too long to order and to be served, but the lady serving us was nice.
